If you consent to electronic delivery of the Program Description and Offering Statement, including the Enrollment Agreement, you will be deemed to have received the Program Description and Offering Statement, including the Enrollment Agreement, that is available on MEFA’s website and linked to the applicable consent checkbox.
With respect to any category of materials for which you do not provide consent to electronic delivery, you will receive a paper copy by mail at the mailing address you provide to MEFA.
Accessing Communications
Any Communications subject to this Electronic Delivery Agreement will be made available on the following website: mefa.org. MEFA or its recordkeeper will send you an e-mail at the e-mail address you have provided notifying you when information becomes available on the website [and containing a link to the sign-on screen for the website.] Although as noted above, if you consent to electronic delivery of the Program Description and Offering Statement, including Enrollment Agreement, you will be deemed to have notice of and to have received the Program Description and Offering Statement, including Enrollment Agreement, on the website at the time of such consent, if you establish an account you will thereafter receive an e-mail notification at the e-mail address you have provided of any supplements to the Program Description and Offering Statement, including Enrollment Agreement, or new versions of the Program Description and Offering Statement, including Enrollment Agreement.
Duration and Termination of Consent
This Electronic Delivery Agreement will remain in effect with respect to the Communications you have selected until you withdraw your consent to the electronic delivery of the applicable Communications or until every account governed by this agreement is closed. You may withdraw your consent to receive Communications, or particular categories of Communications, at any time before the applicable Communication is furnished to you. If you choose to withdraw consent, a paper copy of the applicable document, agreement or communication will be provided. To withdraw consent, you may furnish such withdrawal in writing to MEFA at 60 State Street, Suite 900, Boston, MA 02109 or electronically at [email protected]. You may also request a paper copy without withdrawing consent to electronic delivery by communicating such request to the physical or electronic address in the prior sentence.
You may re-enroll for electronic delivery of particular Communications or add categories of Communications subject to electronic delivery at any time by accessing the website and providing a valid e-mail address and accepting electronic delivery of the applicable Communications.
In connection with your consent to electronic delivery, you agree to immediately notify MEFA of any change to the e-mail address you have specified for electronic delivery. You may update your specified e-mail address at any time by logging into your account on the website and inputting your new email address.
Hardware and Software Requirements
You will need certain hardware and software, and may incur certain costs, in connection with the electronic delivery of Communications. For example, you will need access to a computer with a web browser and e-mail software to access your account documents electronically, and you must also have access to the Internet. Further, you may incur costs such as internet provider costs and the costs associated with printing your own paper copies. Such hardware, software and any other costs shall be your sole responsibility
BY CONSENTING TO THIS AGREEMENT TO RECEIVE YOUR APPLICABLE COMMUNICATIONS VIA ELECTRONIC DELIVERY, YOU ARE VERIFYING THAT YOU HAVE THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIRED TO ACCESS FILES IN THE FORMAT DESCRIBED IN THE NEXT SECTION (“ELECTRONIC DELIVERY FORMAT”).
Electronic Delivery Format
Communications will be presented in “pdf” file format on the website, and you will need to have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer to access the information. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat software, you can download it at get.adobe.com/reader. In order to download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader, you must have the proper rights and privileges to download and install a program on your computer. Follow the directions to download the most recent version of the Acrobat Reader. Once the program is downloaded, run the program and follow the prompts.
