[00:00:00] We know how important it is for students to discover what captivates them and translate those natural interests and abilities into a vocation. To help middle school students do just this. MEFA Pathway created new interactive resources in the Discover career section of the platform. Students start by logging into MEFA Pathway and going to the careers Discovery Zone under the Discover Careers tab.
Here they can use the engaging and fun activities to see careers that might interest them. These activities are specifically designed for middle schoolers. They’re interesting and intuitive and lead students to explore careers in a number of areas with the everyday things activity. Students explore careers based on subjects or activities that they might enjoy with the says who activity, students are exposed to various careers by identifying on the job tasks.

Students can click on a particular career to learn about its details, which include education required daily tasks. Work activities, job training, and median salary careers they wanna keep in mind can be saved onto the My Career list to refer back to later. The career search page opens the door to discovery even further by allowing students to search careers by category and education level, and students can save a particular search and come back to it at any time.
