Learn about Public Service Loan Forgiveness

New rules for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) are now in effect. If you’re employed by a government or not-for-profit organization, you might be eligible for PSLF, which forgives the remaining balance on your Federal Direct Loans after a ten-year period of repayment. In this webinar, recorded in April 2024 and presented by Betsy Mayotte, the President of The Institute of Student Loan Advisors (TISLA), you’ll learn all about PSLF, including what types of employment and loans qualify, the process of applying, and the details of a PSLF benefit with an upcoming deadline that may result in some borrowers receiving additional forgiveness credits.
